The matrix Journey

“The matrix Journey has been great for growing our company. As departments have developed, we have used it to create relationships between them, so everyone understands the impact of their actions on other parts of the business.”

Identify
development activities in your continuous improvement plan
At the heart of the matrix Standard is continuous improvement. When you received the feedback and formal report from your Assessor, they will have given you pointers to help you further develop your information, advice and guidance services and help you push to achieve more.
Following Accreditation, this is the time to take on board the Assessor's feedback, combine it with your own improvement objectives, and create a Continuous Improvement Plan. This sets out the areas you are seeking to develop, the timescales you are working to, the resources you will need and the outcomes you want to see happening as a result. Also don't forget to not only look at development areas but how you are going to build on your strengths.
You may wish to re-involve your Registered matrix Adviser at this point to support you in developing your organisation.
