The matrix Journey

"Thanks to our original matrix Assessment we developed some fantastic new ideas and over the last three years we've managed to put everything in place."

Implement your plan and prepare for Assessment
Depending on how you set things up originally, by now you may have a well established project team that will collectively be implementing the action plan, or you may still be taking the sole lead on ensuring action points get done.
Whichever approach you have decided to take, be sure to monitor closely not only how the implementation phase is going but also the evidence of meeting the criteria of the matrix Standard that you will be picking up naturally along the way.
This will make preparing for Assessment much easier, and you will find that in some cases the evidence you demonstrate will satisfy more than one criterion. Remember that evidence will come in many forms, and not necessarily on paper.
Also remember that the spirit of the matrix Standard is all about continuous improvement, so if you learn something new that impacts on how the action plan can be delivered, try to see it as a positive, rather than a hindrance, and incorporate it into a revised action plan.
